Cookies

This site uses what are known as ‘Session Cookies’ to track your shopping cart. They do not store any information about you other than that which your browser reveals automatically about your connection. They cannot be used to identify you personally.

Why use cookies at all?

Many people can be using the web site at the same time. The server needs to keep track of which shopping basket belongs to who – it would get very confusing if the shopping baskets were to get muddled up!

How long do the cookies stay on my machine?

They are automatically deleted after your ‘session’ ends – typically that’s about 20 minutes after the last activity on the site. They cannot be used to track you nor even to see if you have ever visited the site before.

Is there an alternative? – why don’t you use it?

There are a couple of alternative ways of tracking your shopping cart – but none offers as good security.

What happens if I disable cookies in my browser?

Under no circumstances do we share information entered by customers with anybody!

All information captured is held in a secure environment. If you find that we have stored any of your details incorrectly, please email sales@AcesSpeedShop.co.uk or write to our address and it will be amended immediately.

Price

All prices are displayed in UK Pounds sterling and are shown VAT FREE as we are NOT VAT registered (we do not charge it and you cannot claim it back). We reserve the right to vary prices as the market and supplier costs demand. We will however honour any quotations given for a period of 30 days. Any price quoted on this web site will be considered correct at the time of order placement.

Delivery

All orders are dispatched via a range of carriers to ensure you pay the minimum costs. Please note that some delivery items will require a signature on arrival. We will endeavour to dispatch all orders promptly within 2 days , but occasionally, due to manufacturing delays, orders may take up to or in excess of 28 days for delivery. If your order is urgent please tell us and we will do our best to dispatch it quickly. On rare occasion some items may be out of stock at the manufacturer, but we will notify you of the estimated arrival date so you can decide whether or not to proceed with the order. Please note FCX Ltd are not liable for import / export fees / duties when sending goods abroad – our delivery charge does not include these duties, they are paid locally. Where possible all items of your order will be shipped together but you may receive more than one delivery.

Payment

FCX Limited currently accept payment through WorldPay(tm) at sales@FCX.co.uk . WorldPay accept all major credit and debit cards including Mastercard Credit, Mastercard Debit, Visa Credit, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Maestro and JCB. Orders will only be dispatched on receipt of cleared funds in the event of payment by cheque or authorisation by your credit card provider. FCX Limited shall have the right to refuse or cancel any order submitted whether or not the order has been confirmed. If your payment has already been processed and we subsequently cancel your order, we will immediately issue a refund for the full value of the amount processed.

Cancellation / Refund Poilcy

‘Standard’ orders may be cancelled within 7 working days of an order being placed so long as the goods have not been dispatched – This does NOT apply to items that have been made to order / Specials. Under exceptional circumstances this limit may be extended or waived. Please contact us for further information at sales@AcesSpeedShop.co.uk

Returns Poilcy

Goods cannot be returned unless damaged or faulty.

DO NOT SIGN for a delivery until you have carefully checked the contents are all correct and are not damaged.

If they are damaged then sign for them DAMAGED and contact us straight away by email – If you do not get an email acknowledgment within 24 hours then telephone us.

We will NOT entertain a claim for loss or damage if the above is not carried out

Carriage costs for returning goods will be your responsibility other than in exceptional circumstances.

Goods remain your responsibility during transit and until signed for by us.

Faulty Goods

If it is agreed that the goods have been delivered faulty or damaged we will offer you a replacement.

Specifications

Specifications and technical details may vary. We will always try to supply the latest and best specification we can.

Warranty

NEW manufactured products only are guaranteed for 12 months against faulty workmanship or materials in normal use.

Any guarantee offered covers the original goods supplied only. No consequential loss is covered. Any goods believed faulty must be returned to FCX Limited for assessment (at your cost). Repair or replacement will be at the discretion of FCX Limited.

Product Liability

The majority of our products are ‘second hand’ / vintage and are to be considered as ‘display items’ only and are therefore supplied, fitted and used entirely at the purchasers risk / responsibility.

Legal

These terms and conditions are governed and shall be interpreted in accordance with UK law. If any part of these terms and conditions shall be found to be unlawful it shall not affect the validity or enforceability of the remainder of the conditions. In respect of consumer sales only, statutory rights are unaffected by these terms and conditions.

Leather Disclaimer

Leather is a natural material and is therefore subject to change from hide to hide and with daily use. Changes in the colour of the leather and signs of wear are normal. Irregularities in the consistency and depth of the colour in each item should not be considered a fault but inherent of the natural beauty of the leather.

Due to the special tanning process, which gives all FCX items their soft appeal, some colour transfer may occur and water spotting may happen if exposed to rain.
